How it works

Three steps to a better commute.

Karpool handles the matching, scheduling, and coordination. You just show up.

01

Set Your Route

Tell us where and when you travel. We scan your route to find people already making the same drive.

02

Find Your Crew

Review your matches and choose your crew — a driver offering seats and the poolers (riders who split the running costs) travelling your way. One tap sends an invite.

03

Commute Better

Experience a smarter drive with in-app coordination that keeps everyone on time and on the same page.

A different kind of shared ride.

Frequently asked.

Who is Karpool for?

Karpool is built for daily commuters — people travelling the same route Monday to Friday. If your commute is predictable and recurring, this is for you. It is not designed for one-off or occasional trips.

What's a pooler?

A pooler is someone who rides in a carpool they don't drive. Instead of driving solo, they join a driver already heading their way and chip in for fuel and tolls. Drivers offer the empty seats; poolers fill them.

Is this safe?

Karpool is a coordination tool, not a transport operator — carpools are informal, peer-to-peer arrangements between commuters who choose each other.

Review profiles before committing, and nothing is confirmed until both sides accept the match.

What is the Fair Seat Policy?

Your contribution is based on your seat alone — not on how many others are in the carpool. Whether there is one passenger or three, you pay the same fixed rate. Your seat, your share, nothing more. You and your driver settle costs directly — Karpool does not process any payments.

How do drivers benefit from Karpool?

Driving an empty car every day is money left on the table. Karpool helps you fill those seats with people already heading your way — fuel, tolls, and wear shared across your crew. The more seats you fill, the less your commute costs you.

Can I cancel a trip?

Yes. You can cancel your next scheduled trip at the push of a button — your crewmates are notified automatically. Passengers are only charged for trips actually taken.
